Imagine suddenly having a gorilla for a mum!
Nine-year-old Jonna has always dreamed of having a mum. One day, an old Volvo pulls up outside the orphanage where she lives – and out steps a gorilla. She wants to adopt Jonna, but Jonna isn't quite sure. What would it really be like to have a big, scruffy gorilla for a mum? And what if the rumours are true – what if gorillas really do eat little children?
Bring the kids along for some family fun as the Norwegian Touring Theatre (Riksteatret) visits the cultural centre with a stage adaptation of Frida Nilsson's surprising, funny and moving children's book. It’s a heartwarming story about discovering the joy of family when you least expect it. No two families are alike.
Suitable for children between the ages of 5–9 with family and friends.
